Come Katherine, come Kitty, let us scram from out the city
With its bums and slums and odorous debris -
The area is blighted, and it’s people are benighted,
Decentralize organic’ly with me!

Put on your urban turban, let us view some spots suburban,
Let us carefully examine the terrain -
If we find a slope that’s sunny, we won’t even pay hand money
We’ll take it just by eminent domain.

Oh. fie on those espousing the cause of public housing:
Which makes for population densitee
An isolated dwelling has a lure that’s most compelling,
Decentralize organic’ly with me!

My heart is really honing for some new land use and zoning,
Adjacent to a belt of verdant green;
Our arteries won’t harden quite so fast if we truck-garden -
A trained terrain will fill our soup tureen.

Let us graph a parabolic curve of living that’s bucolic.
Let nature take its course, and let us see
If a vital new statistic comes from conduct atavistic.
Decentralize organic’ly with me!
